Winter Festival 2017
The Winter Festival is one of Neverwinter’s big seasonal events that usually runs through the Christmas holidays and new year. The event takes players to the beautiful town of Twilight Tor where they can take part in different winter themed activities. You race for glory, drop gifts all over town, and skate-fight demons on a lake.
The main activity to do each day is claiming your free Parcel form the ZEN market. Pick up the quest “Star Stuff” from Mayor Vario Cepheid and turn it in at the Giftmaster, which is located north-west of the main campfire, right at the race track. It gives you a voucher to claim one free gift. As stated in the tooltip, the more Parcels you open, the better the rewards (items can be looked up at the Giftmaster). The event runs for 22 days. Granted you do the Festival every day, you have at least two shots at a very nice reward per character at the end.

GUILD OFFICER NOTE
Winter festival has been extended for a week, so, you guys have time to get more goodies from the Gift of Simirill. To get a better drop from the gift, your character must reach level 30 above and must get 20+ bags opened. Find 5 player and start open the gift, try stack 10 gift to get better drops. There's a catch, an item in the gift bag are bound to character. So if you get Forgehammer of Gond two times, then the second one you only can use as a fedder. LoL. The Mysterious Chicken Egg is a rare item to get, you need a good luck to open and get the chicken and its bound too. If you guys have difficulty to find a player to open a gift, try message the guild chat so other guild members can join do the gift. And don't forget to claim the free gift from Zen market everyday.
